Before writing prose, I taught production design and screenwriting—among other classes—at Academy Art University in San Francisco. The two short films I wrote, produced, and directed won awards at some film festivals.
I graduated from New York University with an AA in Liberal Arts and a BFA in Theatre, with honors from University College Dublin with an MA in Film Studies, and from San Francisco University, where I earned an MFA in Creative Writing. I attended the juried writers’ conference LitCamp and am a member of A Writer’s Life writing community.
I live in Northern California, where I hike with my rescue Spanish Greyhound, garden, and write, looking out the window for visits from a family of crows.
Currently, I’m querying my literary historical novel.
You can only create that which you are.
